Tryout Information
OPVC Tryouts for the 2021/2022 Boys Club season are now posted! Click here for our tryout page and registration. We have positions available on all of our club teams at Ohio Premier. Currently, we offer teams for 12U–18U age groups. Tryouts are open to all players. Our 12U age group is for current 6th graders but we welcome current 5th grade boys to try out for our 12U team. Tryout times are subject to change. Please stay tuned to the website for any updates.
All tryouts will take place at 7950 E. Kemper Road at Ronnie Grandison Sports Academy. The building shares a parking lot with Kids First. The cost for tryouts will be $25 for those who pre-register, and $30 at the door. All tryout fees are non-refundable.
Pre-registration is required. Players can register for tryouts now (click here). There are forms below that need to be filled out and brought to tryouts.
We realize that there might be overlaps between club tryouts, so we welcome players to come at any time during tryouts: coming late or leaving early as needed. The important thing is to come! Players are highly encouraged to attend both tryout dates (if they are offered) in their age group. This will give us the best opportunity to evaluate players. If a player cannot attend one of the tryouts in their age group, they must contact Ginger Hineline. If you do not attend the first session of an age group, you are welcome to attend the second session even if there are callbacks but please notify Ginger.
Tryouts are closed, meaning that parents are not allowed to stay in the facility while they take place. Once tryouts begin, parents will be asked to leave the gym and will be unable to return until tryouts are over.

For boys' tryouts, players can always play up a grade and sometimes we will mix grades depending on the number of players at tryouts and skill level of players. Our Boys volleyball program only has Regional or National teams. Regional teams are grade level and birthdays do not matter. For National teams, birthdays do matter. Click here for age divisions.
