Matt Donnelly

This is Matt's first year with OPVC. Matt has played competitive volleyball since 2011, playing for both school and local club teams. During high school, Matt helped his varsity team win their 17th and 18th consecutive championships, along with being named to the 2nd-team All-WNY and First Team All-Collegiate Teams.

Matt attended Xavier University from 2018-2022 where in his four years was named 3x Team MVP, 2x First-Team All-National, 1x 2019 D1AA National Runner-Up, and 1x 2022 D2AA National Champion, and was named Nationals MVP in Xavier's tournament win.

Outside of volleyball, Matt works for the University of Cincinnati at the Clinical Trials Office performing cancer research. He aspires to attend medical school once he has finished his MBA at UC. Matt is excited to help teach and be a part of the next generation of talent.
