OPVC 2024/2025 Boys Club Team Tryout Information and General Information for all Teams:

 

OPVC Boys Club Team Tryouts will be either the second or third weekend of September 2024.  The specific dates and times for each of our boys cub team tryouts will be posted sometime in June.  OPVC will have teams for 12U-18U (6th-12th grade).  We will also have an 11U (5th grade boys team) that will be a Pre-club boys team that will practice and attend some friendship tournaments.  

 

Below is general information about our current 2023/2024 club season. Information for the 2024/2025 season will be updated at a later date.

2023/2024 Boys Club team player fees:

 

National Purple Teams Range: $2600-$2950

 

National Lite Black Teams Range: $2100-$2300

 

Grade School Purple and Black Teams: 11U, 12U Range - between $1500-$1650

 

Practice Information for all boys club teams: OPVC 12 Purple, 12 Black and 11 Black teams will Start practice the second week of October and all the other older age groups will start the first week of October -twice a week- 2 hours each practice. The last tournament for the winter will be the weekend of February 17th-18th for all our boys club teams. All 11U, 12U and 13U-18U Black teams will be done with their club season the weekend of Feb 17-18th. OPVC 13U-18U Purple teams will come back the first week of June and start practice again to prepare for AAU Nationals in June. For October, November and December practice days should be consistent. Starting the first week of January, practice days and times may change for some teams. We understand that boys play a lot of different sports and activities and we welcome multi-sport athletes to OPVC.

 

OPVC Boys Club teams will practice all weeks in December but will work practice schedules around the Holidays with no practices a couple days before and after the Holidays in December. In November the teams will still be practicing the week of Thanksgiving but will take the couple days before Thanksgiving Holiday and Thanksgiving weekend off and start back up the last week of November.

 

Player Base fee for boys club teams: The cost per players for all our boys club teams will be posted soon. (The price is based on 10 players. If it is 9 players, the price will be increased to cover the cost.)

***We are a member of JVA and AAU. All players are responsible for purchasing their own AAU player membership. AAU Nationals Team registration fee is included in the players base club fees BUT coaches travel expenses to Nationals will be paid separately by team/players.

 

Uniform Package: This is a separate cost from the player team base fee. We are using the same uniforms for the 2023/2024 club season that we had the previous club season. If you are a returning player to OPVC you do not need to purchase uniform package unless you need a different size. All NEW players to OPVC will need to purchase the entire uniform package. The package includes Two uniform jerseys, Two pair shorts, Back Pack, Warm-up top, Two practice shirts, Practice Volleyball. The cost for the entire package will be between $315-$350 (If you played at OPVC last year, you do not need to purchase a volleyball or Back Pack.) OPVC National teams will be purchasing a third set of uniforms.

 

Optional: Pro Force Performance strength, speed, agility and jump training. 12 one hour sessions will be held on the RGSA mezzanine. Parents can schedule these sessions at an offered time that is convenient for them. Players who are part of OPVC club teams get a discount.

12-1 Purple & 12-2 Black

OPVC will have two 12U (6th grade) boys club teams. If there are 5th graders that we feel are skilled during our tryouts we will offer them positions on one of our 12U boys club teams. These teams will play in 6 regular season tournaments.

13-1 Purple Boys Club Team 
 

Play in 7 regular season tournaments, plus an extra June Pre National tournament and AAU Nationals. These teams are required to attend AAU Boys Nationals in Orlando in June. Parents will pay separately for their own travel to/from tournaments.

14-1 Purple Boys Club Team

Play in 6-7 regular season tournaments, plus an extra June Pre National tournament and AAU Nationals. These teams are required to attend AAU Boys Nationals in Orlando in June. Parents will pay separately for their own travel to/from tournaments.

 

13-2 Black and 14-2 Black Boys Club Teams

Play in 7 Tournaments. Parents will pay separately for their own travel to/from tournaments.

 

18-1 Purple, 17-1 Purple, 16-1 Purple, 15-1 Purple Boys Club Teams

Play in 7 regular season tournaments PLUS an extra June Pre National tournament and AAU Nationals. These teams are required to attend AAU Boys Nationals in Orlando in June. Parents will pay separately for their own travel to/from tournaments.

 

18-2 Black, 17-2 Black, 16-2 Black, 15-2 Black Boys Club Teams

Play in 7 Tournaments. Parents will pay separately for their own travel to/from tournaments.
