All Skills & Game Play
Incoming 3rd-6th Grade Co-ed
This is a three day camp for two hours each day. The first hour will be skill work which will include passing, setting, hitting, serving, blocking and transition. The second hour will be game play. Game play will be 4 vs 4, but the majority will be 6 vs 6. Intermediate/Advanced groups will run a 6-2 offense for their game play and perimeter defense. Beginner groups will learn a 6-2 offense and gradually start to incorporate it into their game play as much as possible for 5th/6th grade. For 3rd and 4th grade they will all play all positions and rotate for 6 vs 6 game play.

About Our Clinics
Part of OPVC success is its coaching methods and philosophy. We believe in teaching proper technique progressions and high repetitions. We insist on doing each skill repetition the correct way every time. Everyone, regardless of skill level, will start off with core drills that emphasize the basic fundamental skills of volleyball. Each session, we focus on one particular skill set, then build upon it each session.
Our programs are designed to learn the game and/or sharpen a player’s skills in an enjoyable and fun way but at the same time instilling a good work ethic into the players. We focus on teaching court movement and proper contact of the ball. Players will gain confidence and will continue to be challenged. We value giving individual instruction based on where players are in the learning process and giving specific positive feedback for optimal skill improvement!
