Derrick has been involved in the game of volleyball for many years starting back in 2004 playing indoor and sand volleyball in rec leagues in northern Columbus. He played soccer in college and has been coaching soccer for the past 10 years. He started coaching volleyball in 2020 and has truly fallen in love with the sport. He currently has 4 of his 7 children involved playing club volleyball at Ohio Premier.
