15-1 Head Coach
Hayden Wagner is currently on the volleyball staff at University of Cincinnati Bearcats woman's volleyball team as a Volunteer Assistant Coach in July of 2021. Wagner played men's volleyball at George Mason University from 2016-2021. During his career at George Mason, Wagner saw action in 280 sets and 96 matches. He finished his collegiate career with 979 kills, 282 digs, 99 service aces, and scored a total of 1,183 points. In his senior season, he earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, was Second Team All-EIVA (Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association) and made the EIVA All-Tournament Team. During the 2019 season, he he earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, was First Team All-EIVA, and made the EIVA All-Tournament Team. He also set a program record with four EIVA Offensive Player of the Week awards.
Wagner burst onto the NCAA volleyball scene his sophomore season by earning All-EIVA First-Team honors, taking home two EIVA Offensive Player of the Week awards (Jan. 22 and Feb. 26) and an Off-The-Block/Molten USA Opposite of the Week award (Feb. 26). He was the team leader in points per set (4.21) and kills per set (3.48) and was the EIVA leader in points per set and kills per set until the last week of the regular season, finished second in both categories. Wagner graduated from George Mason University with a graduate certificate in coaching in May 20201 and also a Bachelors of Arts and Integrative Studies in May 2020.
