Bob joined OPVC in 2023 and brings extensive teaching and coaching experience to the club. He serves as a Varsity Assistant Coach at Bishop Fenwick High School, where he is also a teacher, bringing his experience coaching at the high school level into the development of our younger OPVC athletes.

At OPVC, Bob has led his teams to success at the highest levels of competition. His team earned a first-place Open finish at the Indy Cup and a USAV National Bid in the 12 American division, ultimately finishing fifth at USAV Nationals.

Bob is known for his ability to understand and connect with individual athletes. He knows when to challenge a player, when to encourage them, and how to maintain high expectations while building trust and confidence. His practices emphasize teaching the game—not simply correcting mistakes—and creating an environment where athletes feel comfortable asking questions, seeking feedback, and taking risks.Bob encourages young athletes to develop confidence, understand the game at a deeper level, and become well-rounded players and teammates.
