Kate has been an important part of OPVC as both a coach and leader within the club. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of OPVC Boys Volleyball and has coached girls’ and boys’ teams ranging from 10U through 17U in both head and assistant coaching roles. 

Parents consistently describe Kate as positive, energetic and technically skilled. She provides individualized positional feedback, clearly identifies areas for improvement and knows when an athlete needs instruction, encouragement or an extra push. After working with our 12-1 National team last season, Kate is moving up with this class of girls!

Kate began working with OPVC athletes through club teams, camps, clinics and instructional classes. She also brings previous coaching experience from GCCYS and Cincinnati Premier Youth Volleyball.

Kate graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and earned her master’s degree in education from Xavier University. Her professional experience includes higher-education admissions and secondary-education counseling and administration. Kate and her husband, Phil, have three children: Grant, Julia and Gavin.
