Coach Kelly brings 18 years of volleyball coaching experience to OPVC, with a coaching career that began at Milford Junior High School in 2001. She spent 11 seasons coaching at the junior high level before stepping away to raise her children and coach them in a variety of youth sports. Kelly returned to youth volleyball in 2018 and later rejoined the Milford Junior High coaching staff. This fall, she moved up to Milford High School, where she serves as the Head JVB Coach.

A lifelong multi-sport athlete, Kelly competed in volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school and has continued to stay active in competitive sports throughout her adult life. Her coaching background also extends beyond volleyball, including four years coaching JV and Varsity softball at Mariemont and Milford High Schools.

Kelly's coaching philosophy centers on creating a positive, supportive environment where athletes feel comfortable taking risks, competing hard, and growing together. She believes successful teams are built on trust and strong chemistry, balancing positive feedback with accountability to the standards established by the team and program.

Outside of volleyball, Kelly has spent 27 years as an English/Language Arts teacher at Milford Middle School. She lives in Milford with her husband and has two children, Ethan and Sophie.
