Malaina joins OPVC this season as a co-coach for our 12-3 team and is also working with some of our youngest athletes through OPVC’s youth programs!

Originally from Twinsburg, Ohio, she began playing volleyball in sixth grade and played both school and club volleyball throughout high school.

Malaina played varsity volleyball at Twinsburg High School as a defensive specialist/libero and competed for Buckeyefire Volleyball Club. She recently moved to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati, where she continues to play as a DS/libero on the UC Club Volleyball team.

Working with both our youth programs and 12-3 team, Malaina is excited to step into coaching and share her love for the game with younger athletes while continuing her own playing career. Malaina is currently a second-year Health Sciences major with plans to pursue a career as an orthopedic surgeon.
