Sam currently works as the assistant varsity coach at Little Miami. He has coached club volleyball at various clubs throughout his career. He was the 14-2 coach at OPVC in 2023, and the 15-3 coach at OPVC in 2021. Coach Sam played Division I football at Miami University in Oxford. He has 4 daughters that have all played volleyball competitively. Both of his oldest daughters went on to play Division III volleyball at Wittenberg University, and his third daughter has committed to play division I volleyball at Ohio University.
