Carl Lorenzo

Carl joined OPVC in 2023. Carl has coached girls volleyball for Loveland and Lakota East while coaching boys volleyball for Wyoming. For OPVC boys volleyball, Carl has served as head coach for 15 Black, 17 Black National, and 13 Purple National. Working with those teams in the past showed him that volleyball is not all about winning-- it is also about family/community and how being a coach can impact the lives of your players in many ways outside of volleyball. Carl started playing volleyball in the 6th grade and played for Fairfield High School all four years. He still continues to play competitively around Cincinnati in both indoor and sand volleyball. While working fulltime, Carl is also in school for Nursing.
