Jim Schwaller

Jim has served as an assistant coach at OPVC since 2021. He fell in love with volleyball later in life while living in Los Angeles. Jim won several Westside Volleyball League titles playing indoor culminating in a trip to the 2012 USA Volleyball National Championships in Salt Lake City. Jim also spent plenty of time playing sand volleyball on the South Bay beaches before returning to Cincinnati. In addition to coaching at OPVC, Jim coaches the Madeira boys recreational team and plays on several indoor and sand volleyball teams. Jim is married to Maria, and they have 2 kids - Jimmy (12), who plays for OPVC, and Evie (9). When not on the court, Jim works as a Senior Director of Software Engineering for GE Aerospace.
