Jim Schwaller

Jim has served as a coach at OPVC since 2021. He fell in love with volleyball later in life while living in Los Angeles. Jim won several Westside Volleyball League titles playing indoor culminating in a trip to the 2012 USA Volleyball National Championships in Salt Lake City. Jim also spent plenty of time playing sand volleyball on the South Bay beaches before returning to Cincinnati. In addition to coaching at OPVC, Jim is the head coach of the Madeira Boys Varsity Volleyball team and plays on several indoor and sand volleyball teams. Jim is married to Maria, and they have 2 kids - Jimmy (13), who is entering his 6th season at OPVC, and Evie (10). When not on the court, Jim works as a Director of Platform Engineering for Eaton and tries to sneak in a few rounds of golf.
