Kate McWaters

Kate joined OPVC in 2020 and is Assistant Director of OPVC Boys Volleyball. Over the years, she's coached OPVC girls' and boys' club teams from 10s to 17s, and has taken several teams to Nationals, earning as high as fifth in the country. She has coached in the GCCYS, Cincinnati Premier Youth Volleyball teams, and at OPVC, working with girls and boys club teams, camps, and instructional classes. Kate graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and earned her Master's in Education from Xavier University. Her professional experience is in higher education admissions and secondary education counseling and administration. Kate and her husband Phil have three children--Grant, Julia, and Gavin.
