Alex Quedens

16 Black Head Coach

This will be Alex's first year coaching for OPVC! He played three years of high school volleyball at Fairfield High School where he was awarded first team all-conference and second team all-region. Alex also played 2 years of club volleyball at Cincinnati Attack, competing on the national stage during his senior year. After graduating HS, he went to the Ohio State University where he continued playing club volleyball for another 4 years, while serving on the Executive Board for 3 years and serving as President during his final year. Recently, Alex helped out with multiple skill and team camps hosted by the Ohio State Women’s Varsity Volleyball team. He continues to play in various sand/indoor volleyball leagues around Cincinnati with friends, and looks forward to make the jump into coaching at a top-tier club in the city.

Alex just graduated from The Ohio State University this past Spring with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering. He will be attending the University of Cincinnati in the fall to begin pursuing his Masters degree in Computer Science while working full time as an AI Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman. Outside of school and work, Alex enjoys hanging out with friends, exploring the city, and watching his favorite sports teams—all while spoiling his black lab, Bentley.
