If you are looking to introduce your little athlete to Volleyball, this camp is for you! Open to Boys and Girls, for Fall incoming Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders. This camp will teach serving, passing, setting and attacking in a fun and positive environment. The net will be very low and we use a volleyball that is soft on the arms. These young players will also work on correct throwing technique, eye/hand coordination, agility and speed, jumping and footwork, throwing and catching, court movement and motor skills development.
Our focus is lots and lots of fun while learning the game of volleyball. All players will get a t-shirt.

About Our Clinics
Part of OPVC success is its coaching methods and philosophy. We believe in teaching proper technique progressions and high repetitions. We insist on doing each skill repetition the correct way every time. Everyone, regardless of skill level, will start off with core drills that emphasize the basic fundamental skills of volleyball. Each session, we focus on one particular skill set, then build upon it each session.
Our programs are designed to learn the game and/or sharpen a player’s skills in an enjoyable and fun way but at the same time instilling a good work ethic into the players. We focus on teaching court movement and proper contact of the ball. Players will gain confidence and will continue to be challenged. We value giving individual instruction based on where players are in the learning process and giving specific positive feedback for optimal skill improvement!
