Paul Straughn

This Paul's first year coaching for OPVC. Paul has played volleyball for years and continues to play in sand and indoor leagues. He began coaching 7/8 girls volleyball with WOAC in the winter of 2021. Paul also co-coached 7/8 boys & 9-12 girls throughout 2021-22 and winter 2023. Each had tournament wins. Paul has 3 children ages 18,14, and 13 (very soon 18, 15, 14). All 3 play volleyball and his oldest is an assistant volleyball coach as well. He graduated from the School for Creative and Performing Arts where he studied audio design and played in numerous band ensembles.
